Ilan is an admitted attorney in the States of New York and New Jersey, and is currently working as an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Group at Shapiro, Croland, Reiser, Apfel & Di Iorio, LLP, in Hackensack, New Jersey. His work spans a variety of practice areas including civil litigation, estate planning and litigation, guardianships, corporate formation, and cannabis law. He is also a co-chair for the mental health committee of the Bergen County Bar Association and a pupil of the Justice Morris Pashman Inn of Court. His other areas of experience, stemming from his years as a law student, include time as a law clerk intern in the Bergen County Court, Civil Vicinage, and as a law intern at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Law Division in the newly established Cyber Security and Privacy Unit, where he focused on internet and privacy law violations in the private sector.
Ilan attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and graduated in 2019. Soon after his graduation from law school, he obtained his law license in New York and New Jersey. His undergraduate degree was earned at The Ohio State University in 2016, where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Political Science, with a concentration in American politics and a minor in legal foundations of law.
As a tech enthusiast, Ilan has spent several years working at Apple in varying capacities, including as a Software QA Engineering intern, Technical Specialist, and a Product Specialist.
